Opportunities for Adult Leaders

Adult Leaders have the opportunity to experience the 2013 Jamboree located at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. For Information on becoming a troop/crew leader for the 2013 Jambo Click Here

Volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America speak very highly of their volunteer experience and are enthusiastic about its many benefits. Volunteering helps adults build closer relationships with their children, adds fun to their lives, provides them with a sense of personal fulfillment, and increases their participation in community service activities. Boy Scouts of America volunteers are given opportunities to fine-tune or improve their communications and relationship skills, outdoor and survival skills, as well as management and leadership skills. A variety of training opportunities are offered by the Boy Scouts of America to assist and provide resources for both new and experienced volunteers.
There are many different volunteer positions in Caddo Area Council. Some work directly with youth; others serve in more supportive roles. In order to become registered, one must be at least 18 years old, complete an application, and be approved for membership.
For more information about become a volunteer with the Boy Scouts please contact the Council Office at 903-793-2179. You can download a adult application by clicking here
